Beware of fraudulent messages using the Chronopost name

Malicious people can pretend to be Chronopost as an attempt to get access to your personal data. Stay vigilant and follow the instructions below to best protect yourself.

How to ensure the authenticity of a message?

1. Verify the sender

Chronopost uses the following email addresses:

  • “ne-pas-repondre@chronopost.fr”;
  • “enquetesatisfaction@chronopost.fr”;
  • “noreply.chronopost@myviseo.com”;
  • “livraison.chronopost@network.pickup.fr”; and
  • “avisage-ne-pas-repondre@chronopost.fr”.

In addition, for text messages, Chronopost uses the following phone number:

  • “38004”.

2. Check the tracking number

The tracking number provided in the emails or text messages must be exactly the same as the one provided by MondoPal.

3. Check the delivery address

The delivery address indicated in the emails or text messages must be exactly the same as the one you provided when ordering on MondoPal.

4. Check external links

If you are on a computer, place your cursor over the links in the email, all of which must begin with “https://www.chronopost.fr/".

To stay safe, consider following these best practices:

  • Do not click on the link of an email or a text message whose origin or sender address you do not know;
  • Do not reply or click on a link if you have any doubts as to the authenticity of a message;
  • Do not send a photo or scan of your identity card or passport;
  • Do not pay for supposed additional delivery costs; and
  • Do not call back premium rate numbers.

How to alert Chronopost about fraudulent messages?

Suspicious email

If you have received a suspicious email, forward it to abuse@chronopost.fr.

Suspicious text message

  1. Copy the content of the text message and send it to abuse@chronopost.fr (do not send a screenshot); and
  2. Visit the website against spams in France, 33700, and follow the instructions to report the fraud.

Suspicious voice call

If you have received a suspicious voice call, visit France's spam prevention website, 33700, and follow the instructions to report the fraud.
